Enrollment

The Community College of the Air Force (CCAF) awarded me an associate degree directly related to my Air Force specialty as a medic. The college works with Air Force training schools, regional accrediting agencies, and hundreds of cooperating civilian colleges and universities. Since the technical nature of my Air Force training was on a level with college study, I was awarded college credits for most of what I learned in job training and on-the-job training. These credits were combined with credits from off-duty courses from civilian colleges, earning me a two-year accredited associate in applied science degree from CCAF.

The University

The Community College of the Air Force (CCAF) serves the US Air Force and the Department of Defense by helping enlisted personnel obtain an accredited Associate in Applied Science Degree. In so doing CCAF serves more than 367,000 students enrolled in 100 technical training schools and 66 degree programs. This makes CCAF the largest multicampus community college in the world, with an administrative center at Maxwell AFB and more than 7,000 faculty members and education service offices at locations around the globe. The hallmark of CCAF's success is not its size, however-but rather, its attention to the individual student and the quality and reputation of the degree.
