JOB DESCRIPTION

Guides analysis/ design/delivery of medical readiness courses including Expeditionary Medical Support, Critical Care Air Transport Team, Aeromedical Evacuation, and Force Health Development/ CBRNE (Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear, High-Yield Explosive). Over 3000 students trained annually representing 31 different career fields representing Active Duty, Reserve & National Guard as well as Army, Navy, U.S. Public Health and foreign nations. Oversees qualification training, continuing education & development of 63 instructors. Directly oversees execution of $1.2M+ budget. Oversees $5M in real property and equipment, including 3 field sites, 4 aircraft mock-ups, and 4 facilities. Functional manager for all medical technicians on base.

ACCOMPLISHMENTS

• Base point of contact on 4 Base Realignment and Closure (BRAC) data calls -- 1,900+ data points collected from 80 sources with meticulous accuracy
• The sole Brooks enlisted representative to the AF Surgeon General Executive Leadership Conference in Washington D.C.
• Spearheaded a complex $300K training field site relocation-deftly elicited and defined requirements, conditions and timeline
• Requested by base executives to teach "leadership" block during Professional Development courses for younger airmen
• Completed courses in Leadership & Relations (2hr), HAZMAT Response (2hr), and Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear, and High-Yield Explosive Response (12hr)
• Volunteered 2 nights of support to South San Antonio Chamber of Commerce first annual Haunted Hayride-3,250 attendees-collected $2,570 for needy families and 650 pounds of food for local food bank
